Angela Welch MA. LMFT is a certified Autism specialist . She provides a four-appointment minimum sessions and testing which includes: observation session, parent session, testing, and report/findings session. Mrs. Welch provides an observational report, standardized test results, treatment/referral recommendations, and a parent packet following the rendering of results.
The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2) is the gold standard with which Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disorders across the lifespan are assessed. It is a standardized, semi-structured play assessment that measures social structured play assessment that measures social interaction, communication, and imaginative play skills through reliable and empirically valid testing measure. Testing age range is 12 months through adult.
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
Mrs. Welch is also an ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP). She utilizes the NICQH Vanderbilt Assessment Scales to test for 3 Subtypes of ADHD-Inattentive, Hyperactive, or Combined Type. The test is a 55-question assessment tool consisting of a teacher report and parent report that reviews symptoms of ADHD. It also looks for other behavioral conditions such as conduct disorder, oppositional-defiant disorder, anxiety, and depression.
